Or is DC just hoping Darwinism will take care of it??[/quote] So I did a little googling around, and it looks like ATVs are a problem in every east coast city (not just DC), including smaller cities, and police all have the similar problem: chases are dangerous to the rider and bystanders so the have limited ability to chase. That said, I think NPS ought to be able to do something. You don't necessarily have to chase to show that law enforcement cares. There was also a bill in DC that would prohibit refueling ATVs - that seems sensible. [/quote]
