I am the same way.  Holding together my whole family.  And a therapist helped me figure out that I could not shoulder that burden anymore.  Unfortunately, my family has pretty much fallen apart.  But I realized the cohesion I provided was only really a bandaid, not a cure for their extreme dysfunction.  So I had to make my peace.  [/quote]
