Okay, you're thinking about the episode from F17. Yes, that's when their trip was cut short due to Kevin's injury. There was a different vignette this season, when they were seated on a bench looking at the Washington Monument and Randall asked Jack if he wanted to find his brother's name on the wall and he said "nah, too painful." I'll have to rewatch both to see how they mesh.[/quote]

Yes, Season 2 episode 10 (which aired in Fall '17). You're right that episode showed them at the wall with Jack touching it, no close-ups of names. Doesn't make a lot of sense that Randall wouldn't have noticed the absence of his uncle's name from the wall. As we now know, Nicky was medivacked out, therefore his name is not on the wall. I feel like Season 3 tried to finesse that inconsistency by having Jack say "Nah, too painful" when Randall asked him if he wanted to see his brother's name. But I can't remember which Season 3 episode.[/quote]
