They don't need to pander to the masses. He will be King, and their son will be king. Their children will be the royals moving forward.

Assuming DCUM is still around in 20 years, let's all circle back to this thread. My prediction is W+K will still be married, and he might be on the throne by then. Harry and Meghan will be divorced. Harry will do a stint in rehab in the interim. Meghan will marry a much older, much richer person. Their kids will be wealthy, but they wont be part of the firm. LOL As if anyone cares what you want Harry to do. He made his choice when he found the love of his life.

As for William - I’m guessing he won’t be on the throne for at least 30 years. The Windsor’s are long-lived and the Queen is looking like she has a good 5-7 more years. Charles will rule for at least 2 1/2 decades after that during which time Harry will be the second-most powerful royal after William. Since keen Kate and workshy William like the countryside so much, guess who will be ruling London? That’s right - the son of the King who actually wants to be present. [/quote]

What’s confusing to you? The fact that Charles will be King or the fact that he only has two children to take on all the duties he’s leaving behind? Harry’s already been named the Queen’s Representative to the Commonwealth. When Charles assigns him the Prince’s Trust as well heads will roll. [/quote]
