Wrong.  Not strategic thinking.  Just look at Avdiivka and before it, Vuhledar.  Ukraine has no problem taking out Russian columns using their regular artillery.  The ATACMS and Storm Shadows are for much much more strategic targets.  For example the threat of Storm Shadows is a big part of what caused Russia to withdraw the Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol.  And if ATACMS can be used to take out aircraft, helicopters and airfields that strikes a much bigger blow to Russia than columns of armor, because then Russia has no more close air support.[/quote]
