This is exactly it. They are trying to use this as an opportunity to get rezoned to Chantilly because they think it's a better school than Westfields and South Lakes. They don't even talk about how a lot of their kids' friends at Carson will go to Westfields with them. And that most of the kids that go to Franklin will go to Oakton, not Chantilly. It's a false argument for a bunch of people who just want the "better" high school.

*Why can't FCPS rejigger neighborhoods that go to Franklin and Carson so that all the kids from Franklin go to Oakton and nobody from Carson goes to Oakton. It will literally just switch two schools, I think. Does anyone from Franklin go to Chantilly other than Oak Hill?[/quote]
