I tell ya ... I bet the merger talks for ECNL must not be going well, since they're trying to tear down GA so hard. MLS must be telling them how many GA clubs they gotta take and they don't like it.
explain how ecnl is "tearing" down ga
It's really just ECNL parents... If GA adds a "bad team" It's GA watering itself down and getting weaker, but when ECNL adds "bad teams" it's ECNL getting stronger
Its the power of the ECNL hat. Every other club add is watering down. When ECNL does it the they're empowered. They say the same thing every time. The irony is GA and ECNL are nearly identical. Theres 20 or so top clubs in ECNL that do well. If your kid isnt playing for these clubs everything is the same.
ECNL and GA are not equal. Just like ECNL and MLSN are not equal. One is clearly better. GA does have strong clubs and teams that can compete and beat ECNL teams but when you consider the quality when you look at the quantity ECNL is by far better and it’s really not close. ECNL also has the college recruitment numbers to back that up. I believe 250% more D1 recruits than GA. You need to come back to reality and stop trying to figure out how you can justify what club your kid is on. Any GA club offered ECNL membership would jump in a heart beat. You made that same offer to 100 ECNL teams you’d get 0 response.
Sometimes the ECNL game in town is NOT the better option.
Definitely and parents should look for best place for each player. I’m talking about ECNL and GA not this club or that club.
