Have you seen the videos of protesters throwing rocks at government vehicles as they're driving by?  Smashing out the drivers side window?  They're waving Mexican flags and burning the American flag.  These are not peaceful protests.

I’ve seen them.  Disgusting.  And the FBI is hoping to ID the people doing it.

I also saw a video posted from the inside of a vehicle from the perspective of law enforcement.  Truly scary. Amazing nobody was seriously hurt or killed. [/quote]

Well, watching the news now. I'm pretty sure all the protesters with their Mexican and Argentinian flags would hurt and even kill the law enforcement people on the scene if they can isolate one. So it's not unreasonable for police to have the protection they can under the circumstances.  [/quote]
