ECNL won't put up with that technicality. yes LS and NVA are two separate entities but ECNL wont care.
So ECNL will keep this hardline stance even if it means their eventual demise? Maybe it’s how they save face and admit the boys’ side is lost.
If you think ECNL is in demise because NVA goes GA you are delusional. Other clubs will not have their girls be a sacrificial lamb for the boys. NVA may be the one exception…there will be a mass exodus of girls from NVA to the other ECNL clubs….
The boys are basically sacrificial lambs for the girls at ECNL clubs. The boys side has more money involved. It’s a logical conclusion.
the rev impact to a club for boys ECNL vs MSLnext is a wash. However GA vs ECNL will be a big impact. Clubs with ECNL will see a surge if loudoun is dumb enough to do this. In the big picture is LS is trying to mitigate competition from other clubs within footprint.
There is zero revenue impact if girls go ECNL to GA. Zero. The team fees and roster size will be the same. It might be different set of players but that does not matter as long as the rosters are full. A club the size of Loudoun Soccer will never have a problem filling up their rosters.
incorrect
Which part is incorrect? You don’t think LS would fill all their rosters if they were GA, or you don’t think the player costs would be the same? If both of those hold it’s simply math. No revenue impact
incorrect. It’s a snowball effect. Older teams will suffer first as talent will leaves. Which then hurts the clubs rep. Which then hurts roster numbers to form additional teams. And they become a valor.
You wishing for something doesn’t making it more likely to happen. LS has at least 5 travel teams at every age group. That’s a lot of paying customers. Not to mention the thousands of rec players and access to the fields. Valor has never been anywhere near the size of LS which has been doing this for 50 years through every new league change over and over.
