More polls here: don’t believe the hype on the right. [twitter]https://twitter.com/simonwdc/status/1537519670525317122?s=21&t=tGnnJjXwI8vcuDURffFmLA[/twitter]
But we saw these same types of Senate polls in 2020 and the R’s generally ended up winning. Whether that was due to “voting irregularities” the likes of which they’re always projecting onto Democrats, or inaccurate polling, or both, the R’s always seem to do better than their polling. I’m pretty confident in Fetterman in PA though. Dr. Oz is a lightweight and an opportunist. The rest, I dunno, I think they’re all 50-50 tossups.
Warnock is an incumbent. Incumbency in midterms is usually helpful. Herschel Walker is a football player with concussive brain damage. He's in because he has name recognition, but the more he talks, the less confidence people have in him. Raphael Warnock is a pastor and in Georgia, that does carry weight. Ryan in OH is in his 5th term (9 years) in Congress and is popular. JD Vance is a venture capitalist and author with no history in Congress. The only reason that Vance did as well as he did was because of Trump backing, but he really doesn't know what he's doing. As long as Ryan continues to run on his accomplishments and what he's done for OH in the last 10 years, he will gain ground. Vance is vapid and hollow as a candidate.
