These parents probably crowed about "parents rights" and thought the school was "wimpy snowflakes" for being concerned about their son's gun obsession.

So what? The school has an obligation to protect students.  And if they didn’t suspend him and call the police to escort this kid and parents out when they wouldn’t leave bc they were afraid of lawsuits, they are part of the problem.  You protect the kids in school first and foremost- let them try to sue if they had wanted to.  Guarantee the school will not escape some legal culpability to this [/quote]
