Teachers who are providing instruction to an entire class may find it easier to do so without a mask and may choose to do so. There's a higher risk of transmission from an unmasked teacher, but I think most people would say ease of communication makes it worth it. Kids who are listening to a teacher, working alone, or working in small groups may be less likely to transmit the virus, but there is also less impact on their ability to communicate when they wear a mask.
