What is stunning is the misrepresentation of Saudi policy on Iran vis a vis Israel and thr US in the Washington Post and New York Times. It is deliberate and the fact that it is being printed in the most lauded papers shakes me. [/quote]

Come on now.  The Saudis tried to play it both ways and it's biting them in the ass.  MBS was all in in the background. If it wasn't for their mutual defense treaty with Pakistan they'd be much more strongly targeted.
