aaaand... Ham-a$$ troll from the Gaza troll farm is talking to self again. Gotta get the post quota!
Posts like these mean nothing. 10/7 was as intentionally ignored and at worst curated as 9/11 all so the right wing administration get more patriotic popularity, justification for wars, and free reign. I'm going to guess Israel had designs on Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran for a while now but without a 10/7 they couldnt justify a war to the Israeli public.
I think that makes sense. 10/7 was a colossal security failure, which is very unlike Israel. And Egypt warned them too. Yet Israel still sent most of the IDF on leave that day. It was a holiday so that gave them an excuse. But the Netanyahu government is the most right wing government in the history of Israel, a cobbled together parliamentary majority of Likud and extremist settler parties that barely crossed the line to get to a majority. For sure they wanted to crush Iran and their proxy armies - Hamas and Hezbollah. And they couldn't engage without justification. Which Hamas amply provided. But, really, who are the idiots in this calculation? Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah are a genuine security threat to Israel. Hamas did invade Israel and they did commit unimaginable atrocities on kids and farmers, knowing very well this Israeli government in particular would destroy Gaza. And Hezbollah followed the next day with attacks on the north of Israel, forcing more than 70,000 Israelis to flee. Hezbollah knew very well that Israel would subsequently engage them in southern Lebanon. It seems to me that all parties got what they wanted. Hamas and Hezbollah and the Netanyahu government all wanted war. And war is what they got. And Hamas and Hezbollah chose wrong.
