They should have been taken down long ago, as they were in many other places. It's not necessarily all that 'admirable' that it's Republicans stepping up to take action - in each of those cases it's Republicans who hold the governorships and Republicans who control the legislators, so it's not as though Democrats even had the power to do anything about it in the first place.[/quote]
