According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), hospital blankets are safe for swaddling to keep newborns warm, but they are not safe for loose use in a crib.

Rewatch the scene moron. The baby had just finished an exam and her dr or nurse was in the room with her when she was crying loudly, Un swaddled when Santos walked in.[/quote]
