Wrong. I am French and certain industries that export mainly to the US have been devastated by tariffs, like cognac. It entirely depends on what you sell to whom, and some merchants have great difficulty pivoting to find new clients elsewhere. They're going under.[/quote]

Americans have no concept of how exposed Europe is to international trade shocks. They do not understand the relative percent of GDP based on export. Europe will have to cave before we ever would. [/quote]

Europe has been preparing for this for almost a decade. As it is, they have been signing trade deals with China and south America; Europe has been ramping up their defense industrial complex, their drone capacity, etc. The European stock indices are outperforming the US markets. As I type this, I would rather be Europe than the US economically.[/quote]
