If Musk had come out supporting Kamala, there would be a love fest right now for Elon. Democrats would be proclaiming how “green” Elon is and a savior for the environment, waging war against the evil combustion engine and its immoral fossil fuel dependency Dolly Parton is a wise woman. When asked about politics, she said, “My fans are smart enough to figure out who to vote for, they don’t need me telling ‘em.” Any business owner publicly supporting or standing against a political party automatically offends a least 30% of the customer base, some of whom will refuse to be a customer anymore. I think Elon made an unwise decision to support Trump. We are seeing the results of that —short term. In the long term, EVs are here to stay. I am nearly certain that at some point in the future, all government vehicles will be an EV. The support for this is too strong for it not to be. There is also a chart gap around $400. You can bet yer britches one day, probably the result of a short-squeeze when it seems TSLA is done for, the stock price will be there again. Once Elon atones for his sins for supporting the Republicans, the Democrats, who have short memories, will once again go about demanding we “save the planet” by forsaking sinful carbon-emitting abominations.
You have no clue about what you post. Tesla is getting its a$$ handed to it because they sell an inferior product that has not changed in 10 years. It is does.
I remember, I think it was about 10 years ago, when gas was close to $4 a gallon. People rushed to buy EVs, not concerned about quality so much as saving money from high gas prices. One day, probably under a Democratic party majority and president who will stop drilling, gas prices will go over $4 a gallon. And guess who will be smiling all the way to the bank in the Bahamas? You guessed it: Elon The Rich. I got some clues, buddy.
You gotta get some better clues, bud. Elon’s going to be left in the dust by everyone else. It’s already happening.
The people who have been pushing for all cars to be electric have not gone away. These anti-freedom, anti-personal choice people remain. Hopefully, collateral damage from Trump’s policies along with a 2-term Vance presidency will set the agenda of these people back for a long time. The election of Trump was a backlash against the Democratic party who wanted to repeal the 2nd Amendment, to amend the 1st Amendment so you are forced to agree a trans-woman is a woman (not hardly), and to use ungrammatical pronouns to appease a tiny, perverted, and thankfully insignificant portion of our society. The D-for-deplorable party wanted to kiss the butts of the Chinese and try to be like their socialist, Euro-weenie role models. Forcing everyone to drive electric cars was part of their mandate to “save the planet” and “fight climate change.” This went too far for even moderate Democrats and so the pendulum was pushed the other way. Despite Elon choosing (in their minds) the wrong side, and worse, rooting out of the government via DOGE these implanted, weed-like growths of anti-American activists, using tax money through USAID to parade in the face of appalled citizens in Africa the virtues of homosexuality and transgenderism. This had to be stopped, and it has —-for now. But they never go away, for as the bible says, “They do not sleep unless they have done evil and cause some to fall.” When the oil drills are once again slammed almost out of existence, TSLA will be there. I suspect by then Elon will have grown bored of running Tesla and will step down, similar to Bezos. I am telling a truth: TSLA will be trading at $400 sometime in the future.
LOL! Were you asleep these last few months? TSLA was already over $400 in December 2024 before Muskrat single-handedly managed to tank it. So you’re saying it’s just going to go back to where it was?
This is exactly what I am saying. There is a chart gap at $400. The gap at $265 closed on the tariff news. The gap at $400 will close. I do not know when, only that it will. Elon is known to enjoy squeezing the balls of short sellers until they squeal and lose all of their money. Do not doubt me on this.
You are delusional. The cybertruck is a disaster. The quality is not there. Now that Musk is waving a Nazi flag and buying elections, he is cryptonite.
We've owned three Teslas, all Model S. DH was an early adopter and loves driving it but we will not EVER buy another Tesla but we will buy EVs. Tesla will always be tainted, regardless who runs it.
