Cryoport Systems, a logistics company that ships embryos, paused operations in Alabama on Friday. I’m also hearing that UAB who has paused ivf will not allow families to transfer frozen embryos.
Unsurprising. Wacko judge will probably arrest them for human trafficking by moving embryos across state lines.
I never thought of this but is a real possibility.
It was obvious IVF would be seriously impacted by the destruction of Roe. Anyone caught off guard was not paying attention at all. This election.... understand the enormous risks of this unwelcome interference into people fertility decisions and vote accordingly.
I doubt it. Too many voters are apathetic.
I’ve drilled into my 18 and 20 yo sons that they and their friends are seriously affected by these policies. Way more so than we were. GenX parents. Even if you don’t have or want kids or are abstinent. Lack of access to abortion negatively affects our economy and crime rates. It matters.
My 15 yr old DD is absolutely livid at how Rs are trying to control women's bodies. She and her friends can't wait to vote.
