My DH's sport socks get holes and I can't, no matter how frugal I want to be, imagine mending them. I would never get them smooth enough for comfort in terms of an athletic sock. And I can buy another 10-pack. But I'm here for the second ice age dystopian future when grandpa Jaxon needs his outer outer socks mended to go tend the clone sheep[/quote]
