She had no reason to be embarrassed because the talk of her partying was made up. Joe now claims he wasn't behind those rumors but, uh... who was? If it wasn't him, it was someone close to him who thought they were doing him a favor, because they were transparent efforts to smear Sophie as a bad mom right before a huge custody battle. If Joe didn't actually plant the items, he knows who did.

The kids are dual citizens and have spent quite a bit of time in the UK. The youngest is barely a year so like 20-30% of her life. And Sophie's entire family is there. So it's not a "stunt" -- they are British citizens and their British mom wants to live with them in England. Which means if Sophie's desire to adjudicate it in England is "lame" then Joe's attempt to adjudicate it in the US (especially in Florida where they no longer live) is also "lame."

Very little similarity to the Rutherford case -- her kids got "shipped abroad" because she messed up her legal case by trying to keep the kids from him altogether and trying to get him deported. Hopefully none of that happens here.[/quote]
