This is such a silly conversation. As a volunteer at my kid’s school, I think I saw maybe 3 kids each day wearing their flimsy, cloth, I’ll-fitting masks properly. And they probably pushed their masks down a minute later. So for all intents and purposes, kids have been “maskless” for months/years. This debate isn’t about health — it’s about virtue signaling and obedience and control and politics. Nothing more.
Yeah - the whole thing is “health theater” that makes TSA look like an amazingly effective agency. Now suddenly the maskers want to move the goalposts again—having to admit that the cloth masks most kids have been wearing for a year and a half don’t do anything, now the new thing is everyone has to wear N95 masks. It. Will. Never. End. Well, we’re done with mandatory masks, hallelujah! My kids were singing “This Little Light of Mine” in the car this morning on the way to school they were so happy.
