This scenario is plausible.  It is a reasonable possibility.

Given he clearly has some mental health conditions, and as such, he may have ran before knowing what happened to her. If he was having a manic episode, his behaviour wouldn't make sense to the general public but it can fit the bill of someone in mental distress. His erratic behaviour doesn't make him a murderer.[/quote]
