Not the person who originally wrote this, but Madlax “poached” some kids from NL a few years ago following the teams sharing some players for a WSYL team.  But that’s not the reason you won’t likely see a combination.  These clubs are business competitors and don’t often work together.  Rarely play in tournaments the other is sponsoring.  Because of the way BLC is run (decentralized collection of coaches other than DCE overlay) it isn’t a competitor for business in the same way ML and NL are. Neither side would see a benefit to helping the other.  VLC doesn’t really compete with NL for players.  Most VLC are VA based. NL mostly MD.  Practices are too far for most people to consider both programs except maybe at high school level.  So a VLC, NL, and BLC combo can fly, but unlikely you’ll see an NL and Ml combo.[/quote]
