I don’t know anything about the specifics of the deal but have heard it from a few different people that are in positions to know stuff like that. ECNL and its admin team would see a nice pay day as well as make the boys side one large league with relegation all by MLS.

If it does not happen then clubs will have to split into two clubs and they can keep boys and girls in separate or GTFO.

There was a few big girls ECNL clubs that tried switching boys to MLSN and ECNL was going to drop them so they decided to keep boys in ECNL. [/quote]
