Poles fought on against Nazis in the Battle of France, the Battle of Britain, the Western Desert, Italy, NW Europe, Eastern Europe, and Central Europe. Polish insurgents continued to fight on in Poland itself against Nazis and their foreign allies, as well. More Poles are officially recognized as the Righteous Among Nations than any other people.[/quote]
