Does she have kids in school? If not, it's quite likely she has a general sense that the charter schools are elitist and bad. She may have the idealized sense that everyone should "just go to the local school" and magically make it great. This may not be explicit, just vibes. Therefore, step one might be to make the strong case for how charters serve kids here and do not only serve the elite kids (obvious, but it's more a matter of changing the image of the charter schools). Who TF cares? Definitely not anyone white in wards 2,3 who had higher Duff  votes. I’m so glad she’s likely going to win. We will still have charters and I’ll come back to this thread and laugh at all the gutter trolls who’ve been pipping up disparaging people for voting for the correct choice -out of these mediocre and bad candidates.
