Similar to Langley, you do realize that's more a function of the low FARMS student body itself than anything magical happening at the school, right? So yes, you are a bunch of Karens who think you're too good to be associated with the poor kids at a new school that will have a relatively higher FARMS rate than your current bubble.[/quote]
DP. This is why democrats lose elections. There is no better way to hemorrhage professional class support than to go after them for wanting their kids to remain in the school pyramid that they choose when they bought their house. You’re too dense to realize that these “Karens” are the backbone of the very school system that you desperately need to educate your kids.

You are obviously a Langley parent following the Skyview changes because you’re worried that moving Crossfield to Skyview because of the long distance to Oakton would make it easier to justify moving Forestville to Herndon in a few years.

you’re right. them not moving crossfield to skyview or south lakes and leaving westfield at 74% and hughes at 82% when oakton and skyview are much more similar than langley and herndon show the SB is not going to be making those types of moves. [/quote]

If you think that’s off the table forever, you’d have to ask why PP was going on about why Democrats lose elections when we live in a county where Democrats routinely continue to trounce Republican candidates.

It all depends on whether there are pockets of growth in Fairfax despite the expected county and nation-wide decline in the number of K-12 kids.  Build enough new housing near Oakton and eventually Crossfield gets moved.  Build enough new housing in Tysons and eventually Forestville gets moved.  It might happen; it might not.  But if it does it won’t be because it was an “equity fever dream,” so let’s make the best decisions for Skyview and the nearby communities now.  [/quote]
