Someone mentioned this earlier and I think it's accurate. For both boys and girls, they see MLS Next AD and GA as better alternatives than ECNL RL if they can't make an ECNL NL team. Or maybe even if they could, if the NL team or club is likely to be a trainwreck. ECNL RL knows this and is trying to combat this perception. [/quote]Agreed. Assume that the ECNL team should be very very good and it is the club closest to your house.[/quote] Honestly I would try to get DD with a good GA team. The showcases push them over RL in the MA. VSA only assigned your DC to the DP role as a tactic to ensure you stay with the club. I suspect that when next year arrives, the narrative won’t change; they will claim they lack depth at that position simply to justify keeping you in that same role indefinitely.  I would move to a different club

The VDA 2026 class has 5 former VSA/PWSI DP’s in it. All committed on scholarship to D1 programs. 1 is P4.[/quote]From when the pathway actually was a pathway?  They are so lucky.[/quote]
