Not sure why you have Prep at the top of the IAC.  Did they do something extraordinary at NHSLS?  Hilgartner can coach up the Prep kids, but I don't think he has had a chance to bring in anyone yet, so right now he is trying to "take yours and beat you with 'em, instead of taking his and beatin' you with 'em."

GP has a pretty good fogo committed to no slouch Army. They now have an experienced goalie who should be much better than last year. They return their entire starting attack and a bunch of other starters and kids who had significant play time. Bullis should finish 2nd given the same criteria of a good goalie and an experienced fogo (s) plus enough on the field to win. Landon's fogo is constantly hurt and a brand new goalie and a bunch of new starters. They will be constantly playing with less possession time. STA has about 7 kids who can catch and throw and you need 10 on the field. Episcopal has about 5, SSSAS has about 4.[/quote]

IAC will come down to GP vs Landon.

Prep returns several starters from last year, but in all honesty, their starters last year, weren't particulary good. Hilgy will do a much better job than Urick in developing in-house talent at Prep so expect the Hoyas to be much improved and more organized.

While Landon graduated their two-headed fogos and several starters all over the field, they are one of the best coached teams in the area, and will remain very athletic in between the lines. Don't expect as dramatic as a drop-off as some are predicting.

Bullis will have a tough time scoring this Spring and has ZERO depth. Episcopal this Spring might be able to sneak into the top 3 of the IAC.
Saint Stephens and STA will battle it out for 5th and 6th place.

No dog in this fight, but doesn't GP return all their starting Attack and haven't all the starters committed to good colleges? If that's true (mostly based on memory from lacrosse threads) why did they stink last year? (other than perhaps coaching issues)[/quote]

Tough to pick on kids, but the 5 star attack and the big middie were uncoachable. They were shoot first and only players and Urick, while a good college connection guy, just wasn't a good coach. Those 2 guys led every other player to slip into club ball style because no one thought the ball would get back to them. There was some change at NHSLS as the transfer attack showed he's probably the best player on the offensive side and needs to get the ball more. GP's midfield will be very heavy 2027. [/quote]
