You’re not well informed. It was a bipartisan bill that was expected to pass with Dem support until Musk blew it up with the intention of Gov shut down. Musk isn’t in Congress. He doesn’t have a vote. He cannot manipulate an already accepted bill. Don’t you get it? Musk wants a shut down. MAGA wants a shut down because their base is stupid enough to blame it on Biden. The President does not control Congress. Yet, the DOGE dickhead and his hollow puppet president elect do not have the power to influence the vote. It’s unconstitutional. Johnson is a beta.[/quote]

Enough of the massive pork laden spending bills forced in under emergency terms and if that causes a shutdown, then too bad. Operations need to change. Get it?

Nope. It’s happening under Johnson’s watch. He is the SOH. Biden is POTUS. They have separate duties and responsibilities. Johnson’s duty is to get an appropriation bill through Congress.  Biden’s job is to veto or approve such bill once it’s placed on his desk. The freaking end.[/quote]

No one is confused about what role each office plays but you are wrong if you think the head of the party and the president isn’t involved.
