The third wife was his affair partner while he was married to the second wife.
Yes, not that I care or anything. Biden had three children, two of which turned out to be drug addicted. Kamala's husband, Doug Emhoff, slaps women. Get off the cross. We need the wood.
DP. Thank you. So sick of sanctimonious liberals who pretend to be pious and holier-than-thou, all while peddling their own complete sh!tshow - one that the nation has rejected soundly.
DP. Are you unfamiliar with the military? They actually have rules about all of this stuff - the Secretary of Defense should know about them and follow them, right?
The only time I’ve seen a service member punished for an affair under UCMJ was if the affair partner was another service member’s spouse (makes for some hard feelings at work!) or if the affair partner was also a service member and it was fraternization, or if the affair comprised their duty/mission/security. A National Gaurd solider having an affair with a civilian is unlikely to be prosecuted, which is exactly why he wasn’t.
They don’t necessarily get punished under UCMJ, but they do get sidelined. And the stigma that comes with making bad decisions follows them professionally. It’s going to require some serious acting skills for the JCS to pretend to respect this guy.
Oh, please. Absolutely no doubt plenty of these people have their own skeletons. DP
Yeah, there are likely more affair partners of senate members than there are of members themselves, if you totaled them up.
According to many DCUM posters, affairs and babies born to single mothers are no big deal.
For the millionth time, there are actually rules about this in the military. And consequences. I get that only 1% serve, but the fact that the military has different rules than the rest of the population is pretty elementary.
Like Gen. Petraeus getting an Army Distinguished Service Medal when he retired with a yearly pension of over $200,000?
- after having an affair, no less. DP
Not just an affair. He was sharing classified information with her as well.
+1 Yep, and yet still got a golden parachute and award.
All true, but Petraeus also plead guilty to sharing classified information and was sentenced to for it (probation). And that was AFTER a very distinguished military career. No one has nominated him for a Cabinet position since. Leaving Hegseth's moral failings aside, he's not qualified, period. And to the person that keeps bringing up Ash Carter - here's a snippet of his bio: "Carter began his career as a physicist. After a brief experience as an analyst for the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, he switched careers to public policy. He joined the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1984 and became chair of the International & Global Affairs faculty.[4] Carter served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy during President Clinton's first term, from 1993 to 1996, responsible for policy regarding the former Soviet states, strategic affairs, and nuclear weapons. During President Obama's first term, he served first as Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics and then Deputy Secretary of Defense until December 2013. In February 2015, he replaced Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense and served until the end of the Obama administration." If Trump wanted to appoint Hegseth to an Undersecretary position (which I think he's still unqualified for), that might fly. But it would still be clear that it's because he's a good looking talking head yes man, not because he brings any relevant experience to the table.
