No clubs develop players, they just give access to platforms. Some have 'better coaching' but that should be taken with much perspective, it's better coaching in that they're coaching to get a result that the program is doing well in hopes of drawing better players year to year from other clubs. DMV soccer is a mess for girls and if you hear otherwise it's only because you're hearing peoples perspectives from situations that work for THEM, which isn't always the same for others.[/quote] Ok, so just start with one and hope it works out? U13 is where things get shaken up, there's no clubs around that truly have any stable environments where you can expect the same coaches/directors for years, and if they tell you so, they're writing a check they can't cash. For younger years your best bet is to just find the appropriate level of competition where your player can grow, if he/she continues to break the ceiling, move to the next level and find the appropriate environment there, so on and so forth.[/quote]
