The title of this thread is misleading. Trump did not"agree" to anything. He is trying to set the terms. There was an already scheduled debate that Kamala 100% plans to attend. Trump is trying to set the terms where a debate will be held at Fox entertainment before the already scheduled debate and if Kamala does not show up, he will then have an excuse to drop out of the pre-scheduled debate on ABC where he is already prepared to say "Kamala did not show up to the fox debate so I don't need to show up to the ABC debate" He is so transparent. The thing is, there should not ever be a debate on Fox entertainment. They were complicit with the 2020 election fraud lie.
He agreed to a debate, which you all said he wouldn’t, because he’s scared. Keep moving the goalposts.
Did you not read everything I wrote? My prediction is because he's setting this new debate scheduled for September 4 which Harris has no reason to go to and Fox entertainment has no right to hold. When Harris does not go to that debate as you noticed, she has not yet agreed to his new terms, Trump is going to drop out of the September 10 debate. so I repeat. Trump has not agreed to three debates. He might have agreed to the ABC debate. But the Fox debate is not an agreement. That's something he added on his own. And I repeat, I predict he will end up not showing up for the September 10 debate on ABC based on the reason I just outlined. my prediction is based on his past behavior which predicts future behavior. And he has shown himself to be a coward in the past.
Actually, at this point, it appears that Kamala is the coward.
I think we have to agree to disagree. I thought I outlined my points quite clearly, but you don't agree with them. That's fine. We'll see how this pans out.
I think the ABC debate should be the first between them since Trump had previously agreed to that date and network previously. I think they should also agree to at least one other debate. I think C-span would be a good second host. Fox is too partisan. You can’t say the same about ABC.
Disagree. Fox is clearly conservative. But, the moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum have been recognized in the past for very fair moderation. The two moderators for ABC have never moderated a debate before, so they are an unknown quantity. As far as other ABC hosts... you can't call Stephanopoulos unbiased.
The major networks are all partisan all either are or strongly lean left or red. and focused on sensationalism. PBS news is less focused on that. A debate hosted by them is truly neutral
