The difference is between unproven allegations on the one hand, and disruption right on floor of legislature on video. Look, we are different here in TN. Unwritten rule in Nashville is you don’t use your car horn. This bullhorn thing is unacceptable to so many.
Wasn’t the white representative also on video? If there was a cool headed rational reason then why were only the two black members expelled?
They took over the speaking from the person who was speaking. They pulled out a bullhorn and screamed at the crowd to rev them up. The woman stood there with them in support. She did not scream.
They brought in the bullhorn because they were being denied regular due process to speak and propose legislation.
No, they weren't and never were. I reluctantly support the expulsion. Because they were blocking the legislative body. It's no different from what the protesters were doing on J6. There is a time and venue for protest, but protest does not mean you stop other people from executing their legislative duties.
Stop the lying. Did these protesters smash windows, kick down doors, clash with police and throw fire extinguishers at their heads, cause any bodily injury (like losing fingers and an eye, which happened to Capitol police), threaten to hang a high official, try to overturn an election, cause millions in damage to a historic building? Yes or no? The answer is no. And so no, it is not the same as the J6 mob. There’s a chasm of difference between the two.
Ehh, that's just hyperbole. The end result is the same. Both groups wanted to overthrow the house.
You think millions in dollars of damage and the loss of an eye and several fingers is hyperbole? Would you dare to tell that in person to the officers who were maimed?
