This is such a silly conversation. As a volunteer at my kid’s school, I think I saw maybe 3 kids each day wearing their flimsy, cloth, I’ll-fitting masks properly. And they probably pushed their masks down a minute later. So for all intents and purposes, kids have been “maskless” for months/years. This debate isn’t about health — it’s about virtue signaling and obedience and control and politics. Nothing more.
So many kids at our school do a good job wearing masks. I suspect they will all continue to wear them. They are also vaccinated. All of these things go together. The parents who are jerks about masks obviously have kids who aren’t good about wearing masks. They follow their parents’ lead. And not shockingly, they also do not vaccinate.
