Lots of parents that send there kids off to yale and harvard and columbia are a little surprised and disappointed at all the drinking and puking. If this isn't apparent to you, you are lost.  Harvard and Yale both have endowments above $30B+.  Columbia isn't even worth $10B[/quote]

Never heard anyone who turned down Yale or Princeton for Columbia. The students and their parents are smarter than some of the folks here because they know where they should go when they are admitted to Columbia and Yale/Princeton. The lopsided decisions are not even close.
