Tom Hanks is a great actor. From his early comedic actor days in Bosom Buddies, Bachelor Party, Splash, and Big to his serious roles in Philadelphia, Saving Private Ryan, Sully, and Captain Phillips, and his roles where he simply IS the movie like Castaway and Forrest Gump - he’s shown an incredible range and ability to draw people in and believe what he’s portraying. Great actor. Heck, even his voice work in Toy Story was great. So I’ll have to disagree respectfully.
