He is blocking it because 1) there is ZERO chance the document in question exists in his personal papers and 2) what is in is his personal papers are his notes about policy, about world leaders about other Senators that he doesn't want made public until he is not in public life anymore, and further, he rightfully doesn't want right wing zealots to take fragments of documents out of context and politicize them during the election season.

If you are so interested in politicians having more candor, then ask Trump for his taxes, and for a court ordered DNA samples on a sexual assault proceeding.[/quote]
