Girls left because the 3 middies never came off the field and all plays were run through them never utilizing their attackers (so under utilized attackers went to M&D and Skywalkers).  3 defenders left and went to M&D because for 2 of them they used to be middies and were pushed to defense (and will play middie at M&D).  Once all the departures happened and no reinforcements showed up at tryouts one of the middies jumped shipped to Heros so she could be on the #1 team in the country (when she had previously declined the offer) after she had previously jumped ship to be on Coppermine when they were #1
