Likewise, Palestinians think they are the moral superiors to Israelis. Evidence isn’t in their favor toward this either.
I don't know that Palestinians think that. They just want their land back and are tired of being exterminated and expelled from their ancestral lands. If you decide you don't want to be a second-class citizen, that doesn't mean you think you're morally superior to anyone. It just means you'd like to maintain your rights.
They do think they are morally superior than Israelis but not on the basis of religion or ethnicity as I believe if Jordan or Egypt acted the same way as Israel, Palestinians would have a problem with them as well, but based on Israel’s claims of democracy while detaining, abusing, and killing people at random. Before 10/7, Israel had a mow the lawn policy meaning killing Gazans at random just for target practice. Things like that don’t help Israel. It only helps Hamas get more angry recruits when their families get fire bombed at home for no reason. There was actually a time maybe ten years ago where Netanyahu could’ve gotten away with being the most popular Israeli leader among both Israelis and Palestinians and Arab Israelis (not by much but at least better than his predecessors), but he went haywire with his insane settlement projects in the West Bank after Obama and then after Trump got elected in 2017. In 2020, he started aligning with and hiring racist, sexist, homophobic extremists like Ben Gvir and Smotrich who were deemed too anti Arab for the IDF to draft them (imagine that). Netanyahu parked his car with the crazies and now he can’t get out of it. One of those guys, I believe Ben Gvir, even threatened Netanyahu with wiping him off too and overthrowing him or killing him if he completes a ceasefire. How can he negotiate with people like this (meaning his own cabinet/radicals)? Trump wants a ceremonial exit even if just in name only. He wants the ceasefire for his own bragging rights and Netanyahu has pressure from Trump and from his own cabinet as well as a post war Israel to deal with
