As someone who attended a middle school years ago that was a three-way split at the time, this doesn’t quite resonate with me.  Lopsided split feeders at the MS level do make the transition to HS harder, but your friends in MS don’t really depend on which HS you’ll attend.  And with social media it’s easier for kids attending different HS to stay in touch.  [/quote]
