If you are on here complaining about a club you are still at, do everyone a favor and just leave. You are clearly not happy, and that is fine. That is exactly why other clubs exist. Go try one. What I do not get is why you stay just to complain, and even better why you come back to complain after you have already left. Move on. Touch grass. Find a hobby.
I have actually been really happy with the coaches we have had over the last few years (And yes, I know a lot of others have had their own positive and negative experiences) and that is honestly the reason we have stayed. What I have a problem with is how the organization actually makes decisions which then can have a negative affect on keeping said coaches and players. To me its about ensuring that Valor at least tries to stay competitive and have a good overall reputation as a destination for players to actually want to come to.
What decisions are you referring to?
Prob many decisions...$hithow comes to mind- not the PP but having kids in Valor since it started, things appear to have really gone downhill recently. Management appears to care about $ more than anything else, and while we all understand pay to play- the continuous movement of players up to top teams to only fill spots rather than recruiting talet, is not a good strategy to keep good players from getting better or staying...oh and also having tryouts AFTER every single other club in NOVA shows parents and players how much Valor really doesnt care about talent. While many people will argue- development matters more- I see you BUT once you are in the older groups you start to see the stark difference in ability TO develop over talent...its just a money grab and really kills the talented players spirit. And I know grass isnt greener...but sometimes different grass shows you where your kid really stands.
