Let's say Zelensky has zero friends around the world.  No one gives him a penny.  No one gives him a single bullet.  Do you really think that matters at all?

The violence will extend for decades, since the Ukrainians will never roll over and just say "oh, you're so strong Putin, it's okay that you raped and murdered us, and we're so happy you kidnapped our children or made them orphans."  lol.  Russia is too high on their own propaganda if they ever believe that will happen.  Russia has committed so many war crimes in Ukraine, it would pretty much create an Israel-Palestine situation; where no one has complete control over the other.  The main difference being most Russians don't realize how many of their children are dead and never coming home; and are preparing to send their children's children into battle, fresh out of diapers.

Let's go even further.  Let's say Russia completely takes over all of Ukraine this very second.  Whoopee.  You think Russia can hold it?  You think it won't be a resource drain?  You think that everything goes back to the way it was?  Heh.

Russia held all the cards.  It had a bigger military.  A bigger army.  Spies in every country, subverting every government.  Nuclear weapons.  Secret security organizations arresting anyone who dissented.  And... they still can't make a former vassal a third of their size capitulate to their will.  Putin's got a teeny-weenie on the World Stage for everyone to laugh at.

I don't know what Putin groupies like you get out of this, but Russia is destabilizing fast.
