Cats attentively joined every middle of the night, when I was up, feeding, consoling, checking. One cat --- the more "aloof" one, was always there, making sure we took care of business. The other one made himself comfortable on their beds, leading to squabbles later on, as to which bed should he sleep on. Surely someone on this thread mentioned the allergy protection effect that growing up with a close-by pet has on children?[/quote]
