He’s just trying to rage bait you.  Most interactive games are educational for a variety of reasons.  Personally, I try to integrate them into class when I can.  I’m not sure how smart board basketball works but it might be a nice reward for a class of students who accomplished a goal or objective.[/quote]

While there have always been bad teachers, this one is just being a jerk. I’ve never had a teacher who has done this, my kids have never had a teacher who has done this, and I’ve never worked with a teacher who has done this. This is not normal, don’t assume it is because of how flippant they are being about the situation.

He probably has a lot of difficult students and is feeling cynical and burnt out.  I think he is probably a good teacher (albeit an unconventional one) and his work depression is making him flippant.   Teaching is a tough career and it’s not easy to stay positive all the time.  [/quote]
