Which is exactly why this happened the way it did - Karen just assumed "I deserve this, simply because I want it".

That's why this story resonates so much, & why we STILL see some white American women defending the indefensible. They will never cede their unmerited privilege no matter what - they will take whatever they can get, no matter who gets wronged.[/quote]
