This is the difference between those of us who believe we should enforce our border laws and get all those who are present illegally out of the country.

That illegal man from Egypt who attacked Jews in Colorado would have been considered a "hard working Colorado man who just wanted a better life" by the liberals here - until he wasn't.  There are tons more like him - people here illegally who don't have a record (or one that we know about), but are not people we want here.

The US should be able to CHOOSE who immigrates here.  That is not what is happening now.

Absolutely, completely disagree.

At the current rate of spending for deporting illegals it will cost more than $650 billion to deport them all.  That's insanely, stupidly expensive and a monumental waste of taxpayer dollars.

Instead we should be adjudicating cases and granting visas for the overwhelming majority of them and focusing ICE on going the 2.5% who are violent offenders or otherwise questionable.[/quote]
