The PPs who have spread their toxicity over to this thread from the endless Israel/Gaza thread should be ashamed of themselves. Instead of talking about the plight of starving children, they're only interested in scoring points and outdoing each other with Zionist/anti-Zionist rhetoric. The whole world is tired of this whole debate and your endless arguments and counter arguments. Regardless of what events led to where the Gazans find themselves today, CHILDREN ARE DYING BEFORE OUR EYES.
The Arab countries should take them in. They have plenty of land and can build up to be stronger nations that can then be more equal with Israel.
Why should Palestinians be forced to leave their home and go elsewhere, in the first place? Because the zionists think god gave them the land thousands of years ago?
Exactly. How many people in the US would walk away from their house and give it back to the Native Americans? No payment, no compensation, just hand over the keys and start over somewhere else.
And when you bring up the reality of what happened to these people, and why they won't "just accept Israel," you get some mealy-mouthed response about Israel's right to exist, and how you're antisemitic for bringing up how it came to exist. 🙄
Israel was there before the Palestinians. That's why it was called the Kingdom of Israel before being called Palestina by the Romans.
Mealy-mouthed nonsense. They stole their homes through a violent takeover, and now expect them to live in peace as second-class citizens in a concentration camp.
Your argument would have more weight if the Palestinians weren’t fighting to do the same thing. Any talk about stolen land is not an argument for peace. It’s an argument for vengeance. We’ve never seen any popular Palestinian leader advocate for a two state solution. They want a one state solution where the Jews are gone or subjugated. There is no moral high ground here.
+1000 There is absolutely no moral high ground between these two awful sides and that's exactly what the pea-brains who take a side in this conflict fail to realize. Both sides in this conflict have routinely killed innocent people. The line is drawn right there. People who want to be on the right side of history will support all of the innocent people of this region who caught up in the mess of murderous Jewish and Palestinian leadership. People who support either specific side in this conflict are idiots who will remain on the wrong side of history. The idiots need to be called out, shunned, and punished.
