PP is right. In a December 13 interview, Trump said the following when asked about grocery prices:

"Look, they got them up. I’d like to bring them down. It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up. You know, it’s very hard," he said in the interview published Thursday.

Promising things you can't deliver works in the short term for politicians but eventually comes back to bite them in the a**. Trump is especially prone to making exaggerated promises or claims that can be easily disproven. Here are just some of his more over-the-top "promises." *Throughout his campaign, Trump repeatedly bragged that he was uniquely positioned to resolve Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I doubt he will end birthright citizenship because it benefits Russia. Russians come here to give birth and then they make spies who speak perfect English. They love to live near Miami in little Moscow.

It would be good to end it, I think. But I think he's full of hot air as usual.
